The "Gym Club"will provide an ideal environment for children who need care from the time school lets out until a parent can assume care after work. It will be a pleasant, loving, fun place to spend each afternoon, Monday through Friday. The classroom is spacious and comfortable. It will become a familiar, friendly place filled with lots of great activities to look forward to daily. Our large gymnasium and outdoor play area will provide an active outlet after being confined in school all day.  Our exceptional care will be educationally motivating and far superior to a typical baby-sitting service. Our goal is for the "Gym Club" to be the best afterschool care program in Greenville.

 OBJECTIVES OF THE "GYM CLUB” PROGRAM

To allow children to enjoy themselves in an unpressured, yet structured, quality childcare program.

To encourage each child to strive to reach his or her maximum cognitive, social, motional, and physical potential in a supportive, positive setting.

To provide a safe and fun learning experience that will help children realize the advantages of adopting a healthy, active lifestyle.

To use group games and activities to develop an appreciation for cooperation and team work.

THE "GYM CLUB” PROGRAM INCLUDES:

 
Transportation from Wintergreen Only by the RGTC Bus.
 
Effective, continual supervision by experienced teachers
Large, air-conditioned, carpeted, well-equipped classroom

Supervised, mandatory homework time

Daily outdoor play and/or gym play

Time to pursue selected quiet time activities (i.e. arts & crafts, books, board games, videos, etc.)

Daily snack

Daily, weekly, or monthly fee schedules available

Classes in gymnastics or tumbling/cheerleading available for an additional fee (25% discount off regular class fees for monthly afterschool members)

$ 35 registration fee for each additional child in a family

$490 per month for 2 children in one family

following the Pitt County School System
Calendar Year

Please refer to the Parent Manual for specific holiday
closings for the current year.

A full day “camp” will be provided during teacher workdays and some holidays for an additional fee.
